Family Life Center

The mission of the Family Life Center of New Braunfels is to connect temporarily under-resourced and/or unemployed residents of our community to the vast network of churches, charities, agencies, service organizations and corporate sponsors that provide programs that will enable those residents to become self-sufficient productive members of our community.

New Braunfels Housing Authority

Local Resources for Rental Assistance. Public housing authorities may provide rental assistance through Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers and/or public housing units. There may be waiting lists for this assistance and, at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size and length of the waiting lists. 

New Braunfels Works

NBWorks is a collaboration of four local nonprofit organizations helping their clients, and the broader community, to become more competitive job applicants.

Comal County Habitat for Humanity

Mission: Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. The CHH accepts donations and donates Family Promises' guests credit vouchers to use when they obtain housing. For large items and donations please call the ReSale Store to arrange pick up at 830-625-7005.

Communities in Schools

Communities in Schools works to ensure that all children receive these five basics:

  • A one-on-one relationship with a caring adult

  • A safe place to learn and grow

  • A healthy start and future

  • A marketable skill upon graduation

  • A chance to give back to peers and the community

Crisis Center of Comal County

The Crisis Center of Comal County is dedicated to providing crisis and prevention services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The agency provides a safe environment where individuals can make educated non-biased decisions about their futures.

New Braunfels Food Bank (Kitchen Table)

The Kitchen Table was created in order to provide a variety of services in one place for those suffering from hunger or lack of nutrition. It is a group of organizations, programs and clients living and sharing one common interest – to fight hunger.

NB Housing Partners is an organization made up of people from New Braunfels who want our city to be a place where every family is able to count on something most families take for granted – a bed.

We are your neighbors, your co-workers, and local business owners who know that there is no price on human dignity and the security of having a place to call home. Our programs are driven by charitable donations from citizens, businesses and other civic organizations throughout the New Braunfels area.
